The Travancore State Manual Vol.3 compiled by Sri. T.K. Velu Pillai is a record of the economic affairs of the erstwhile state of Travancore. It supplements the earlier compilation of the same by Sri. V. Nagam Aiya (1906) with additional information and extensive statistics. The findings of governmental committees on economic problems of the state during the inter-war period have also been incorporated in this volume. A detailed account of the general economic condition is provided along with information regarding taxation, revenue, commerce, education and public health.
