Walk-in-Interview for the post of Research Associates in Indian Institute of Archaeology on March 13, 2017
Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) requires qualified persons as Research Associates at its Academic Centre – Indian Institute of Archaeology, Pattanam and to undertake responsibilities related Pattanam archaeological research.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates with PhD or equivalent or above qualifications in Archaeology/History/ Anthropology only need to appear for the Walk in Interview.
- Research background suitable for the task given below as well as intellectual or practical experience in Archaeological Research/ Historical Archaeology is necessary.
Responsibilities
Research Associate’s immediate task would be to take the responsibilities as faculty in PG Diploma Course in Archaeology at Pattanam and assist the research activities at Pattanam on a firm academic basis.
The other responsibilities include teaching, field activities, providing assistance and leadership for in-house field research, documentation, publication and training activities, preparation of projects, reports, budget proposals and study material, organizing academic events, advocacy and liaising with national and international agencies, universities, research institutions and government departments.
