KCHR Public Interface - Department of History, Women's College Thiruvananthapuram on 17th January 2019

KCHR started its Public Interface program on 17th January 2019, to acquaint students about our activities. 53 students from the Department of History, Women’s College, Thiruvananthapuram along with faculty members visited KCHR office, Thiruvananthapuram and its Annexe at Kesavadasapuram as part of the program. Professor Michael Tharakan, Chairperson introduced the functioning and aims of the KCHR. KCHR staff introduced KCHR Projects , Fellowships, Internships programs , Publications and library facilities. 

In the afternoon session two short documentaries - one on Excavation methodology with reference to Pattanam Excavations and another on Pottery making - were shown. This was followed by an interactive session where questions on historical/archaeological studies were discussed. KCHR donated a set of 29 books from its publications to the history department library.
